Tapping Away
Disallowing
View this article on:
Disallowing, getting in
the way of our own allowing, is often a function stuck beliefs.
These beliefs can be that we have to work hard, be busy,
deserve what we get, or any number of other things. Many times,
without being consciously aware, we become so involved with
disallowing that we simply fail to
allow.
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) or
Tapping is a great way to release the energy around
disallowing and to simply let the allowing happen. Allowing
is our natural state and it is our blocks that have us
disallowing.
What follows is a Tapping sequence which
can help release or dissolve the energy around disallowing.
In using the following script, and without going into the
details of how to do EFT, the tapping points are noted in
parentheses. You should tap these points while speaking the
phrases shown out loud. Speaking out loud and with emotion
do improve the effectiveness of the
technique.
Note that results may vary from person to
person.
If you are unfamiliar with
Tapping, you can get a great background online by just
looking up Emotional Freedom Techniques.
Here is the script...before beginning,
check in with yourself. How strong is the feeling that you
are unable to allow? Rate that strength on a scale from 1 to
10, where 10 is a feeling that couldn't be any stronger and
1 is barely perceptible.
(Side of the Hand)-Even though I just
can't seem to allow my
desire,
-I deeply and completely love and accept
myself,
-Even though I just can't seem to allow my
desire,
-I deeply and completely love and forgive
myself,
-Even though my desire just won't
manifest,
-No matter how hard I
try,
-And I am feeling
frustrated,
-And I am feeling
worried,
-I really need this
manifestation,
-I know that the Universe responds to my
thoughts,
-And I have been thinking about this for a
long time,
-And I really want
it,
-But I just seem
stuck,
-And I can't allow this desire to come
around,
-It seems like the more I want
it,
-The further away it
is,
-So, I feel stuck and I don't know what to
do,
-But, even though I just can't seem to
allow my desire,
-I deeply and completely love, forgive and
accept myself,
-And anyone, or anything else that may
have,
-In any way contributed to
this.
(Eyebrow Point)-I just can't seem to allow
my desire,
(Side of the Eye)-I just can't seem to
allow my desire,
(Under the Eye)-I just can't seem to allow
my desire,
(Under the Nose)-No matter how hard I
try,
(Under the Mouth)-I just can't seem to
allow my desire,
(CollarBone Point)-And now I am
frustrated,
(Under the Arm)-Now I am
worried,
(Top of the Head)-Because I really need
this desire now.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-I know that the Universe
hears me,
(Side of the Eye)-I know that, according
to Abraham,
(Under the Eye)-If I can desire
something,
(Under the Nose)-It can be manifest for
me,
(Under the Mouth)-So why is this so
hard,
(CollarBone Point)-Why can't I get this
thing,
(Under the Arm)-What am I doing
wrong,
(Top of the Head)-Because I really want
it.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-I know that if I had my
desire,
(Side of the Eye)-It would make me
happy,
(Under the Eye)-It would make my life
better,
(Under the Nose)-It would make other
people's lives better,
(Under the Mouth)-I would be so
grateful,
(CollarBone Point)-I could relax and
really enjoy it,
(Under the Arm)-I could have
fun,
(Top of the Head)-I could be at
peace.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-But I just can't allow
it,
(Side of the Eye)-Maybe I am just working
too hard,
(Under the Eye)-Allowing does mean
allowing,
(Under the Nose)-It doesn't mean
forcing,
(Under the Mouth)-And maybe I am pushing a
little hard,
(CollarBone Point)-Maybe I am wanting too
much,
(Under the Arm)-But I do want
this,
(Top of the Head)-But maybe I need to
relax a little.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-Maybe I need to really
believe in the Universe,
(Side of the Eye)-Maybe I need to let the
Universe deliver,
(Under the Eye)-I could try just breathing
deeply and enjoying myself,
(Under the Nose)-I could just accept that
my desire is sufficient,
(Under the Mouth)-And that the Universe
does hear me,
(CollarBone Point)-And that the Universe
does deliver,
(Under the Arm)-The Universe never
misplaces an order,
(Top of the Head)-And I placed my
order.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-Since I placed
it,
(Side of the Eye)-Maybe I just need to
wait for the delivery,
(Under the Eye)-And not spend so much
listening to my doubt,
(Under the Nose)-Listening to my left
brain chatter at me,
(Under the Mouth)-Maybe I could be
peaceful and happy,
(CollarBone Point)-Just knowing that my
desire has be fulfilled,
(Under the Arm)-My order is
filled,
(Top of the Head)-It is just on the
delivery truck now.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-Maybe I have been so busy
trying,
(Side of the Eye)-There has not been any
time for the delivery,
(Under the Eye)-So maybe I should try
less,
(Under the Nose)-And just listen for the
doorbell,
(Under the Mouth)-I can make some space in
my life for my desire,
(CollarBone Point)-I can listen to the
quiet and wait in peace,
(Under the Arm)-I can try less and be
happy,
(Top of the Head)-I can be happy while I
wait.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-That truck will arrive
soon,
(Side of the Eye)-And in the
meantime,
(Under the Eye)-I can be grateful for such
a perfect system,
(Under the Nose)-I can be grateful for my
life now,
(Under the Mouth)-I can be grateful for
the contrast that I
experience,
(CollarBone Point)-That lets me want
this,
(Under the Arm)-I am excited about my
desire being here,
(Top of the Head)-I am gratefully and
joyously allowing my desire
now.
-
-Take a deep
breath.
Now, check in with yourself again. How
strong is your feeling of disallowing now? Did it come down
from before? Feel free to repeat this sequence as
needed.
Tap your troubles
away.

The Art of Allowing is Not
Disallowing, Five Easy Steps
View this article on:
It has been said that it takes 17 muscles to
smile and 43 to frown. (I did a
little more research on that and these numbers may not be
exactly right, but there is a good principle here in any
case.) It seems that we spend
time and energy being unhappy rather than simply relaxing
and being happy.
In her book, “My Stroke of Insight”, Jill Bolte
Taylor talks about recognizing the “little voice” in the
left brain that just keeps making up stories, and she
speaks of the need to quiet that
voice. Eckhart Tolle talks
constantly about simply being in the present, or the now,
because there are no problems in the
now. All problems exist only in
the past or in the
future. Abraham (from Esther and
Jerry Hicks and the Abraham-Hicks material) says that our
only goal needs to be to “be happy now.”
We do live in a loving
Universe. We live in a Universe
that is prepared to meet our every need and grant our
every wish. When we desire
something, it is available to
us. Once we express a desire all
we need to do is focus on it, and then allow it to enter
our existence. So why is it that
we do not see continual and constant manifestation of all
of our desires? The short answer
is that we do. Everything in our
experience is a direct result of our own
thoughts. As far as experiencing
the things that we want to deliberately create, we simply
fall down on the allowing end of the spectrum.
Allowing is like the proverbial
smile. It takes fewer muscles,
and far less action, to allow than to
disallow. We are action and worry
oriented though. So we prefer to
try and work our desires into
reality. The harder we work, the
more frustrated we get. The more
frustrated we get, the more unhappy we
get. As we get unhappy, we work
harder and pretty soon the allowing is lost in the noise
and the buzz that we are
generating. We end up focused on
the lack of our desire…and so, we manifest precisely our
focus…the lack.
We can break out of this cycle of frustration
and lack…and it requires much less effort than staying in
this cycle…although it does require a new
focus. Here are the simple steps
to allowing, and more importantly, to stop
disallowing.
1) Be clear on what you desire – Write it
down. Write it down a few
times. Commit a simple desire
statement to memory.
2) Be happy with the outcome of your desire – Make
sure that you feel good when you think of your desire
being manifest. You should be
able to envision your life with your desire manifest and
feel joy…not just feel the absence of
lack. This is a key
distinction. Make sure you
understand and feel your desire being joyous and not just
as another band-aid to stop the current
trauma.
3) Ask for your desire – Spend five to ten minutes
in a quiet place and ask God, Source, the Universe,
whatever your name for the Universal Power is for your
desire, and give thanks for receiving
it. Focus on the desire, the
positive feelings when it is received and gratitude you
feel for where you are now.
4) Stop pushing and stop asking – The Universe
never loses an order and it never fails to
deliver. Continual asking is a
statement of lack and is the wrong
focus. Take action only as you
feel the gentle nudges of the Universe…not as a series of
desperate measures to try and force your desire into
reality now. Spend time focusing
on the “gaps”. Quiet your mind
often and simply relax into the joy of the
Universe.
5) Watch your desire manifest – Once you stop
doubting, stop changing your order, stop making yourself
crazy with all the “left brain” stories, relax and use a
few muscles to smile, your desire will simply move
naturally into your world. There
are no exceptions and no
limitations. This works every
single time.
The only reason we don’t see immediate
manifestation of our desires is because we take action
out of doubt and fear and lack, and so, we focus on
disallowing. Stop the disallowing
and the allowing appears. It
really is as easy as that.

EFT With The Law Of Attraction To
Allow The Feeling Of Abundance
View this article on:
EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques (often
referred to as tapping) can be a great aid in getting to
the feeling you want so that the Law of Attraction can
work for you. Tapping was
developed by Gary Craig and is based upon ancient Eastern
healing traditions.
We will not cover the entire history of or
rationale for EFT here. Suffice
it to say that the body consists of energy fields and in
a well functioning (spiritually, emotionally and
physically) body there is a natural and unrestricted flow
of energy in, around and through the
body. The energy flows along
paths called meridians. When the
energy flow is obstructed for any reason, any number or
combination of maladies may
occur. Acupuncture used needles
inserted at key points along the meridians to help
release energy blockages. Tapping
uses the fingers of one hand tapping gently on key
meridian points while speaking focusing, framing and
releasing phrases to re-orient, release and refresh the
energy flow through the body.
There are many great online sources for detailed
information about EFT and how and why it
works. The success stories are
too numerous to mention.
When trying to allow a feeling of abundance into
our lives as a precursor to living an abundant life,
which is the proper sequence if we are to allow the Law
of Attraction to work properly, we often find ourselves
blocked. Our left-brain
chatterbox voice continually kicks in and reminds us of
what we don’t have, how much is lacking, why abundance is
bad or selfish or simply not for
us. We get stuck in a frustrating
loop of, on the one hand, desiring abundance while, on
the other hand, sending out a message of lack of
abundance to the Universe. This
is just old beliefs and stuck energy at work…and is
exactly what EFT is great for releasing.
What follows is a short tapping sequence to help
release the energy blocks and to allow the feeling of
abundance to flow freely. In
using the following script, and without going into the
details of how to do EFT, the tapping points are noted in
parentheses. You should tap these
points while speaking the phrases shown out
loud. Speaking out loud and with
emotion do improve the effectiveness of the
technique.
One other disclaimer here; I am not a medical
doctor nor a trained practitioner (there no longer exist
any formal EFT certifications); results will vary by
individual (although I believe that EFT always helps-and
it cannot hurt); the specific ways in which EFT is
employed vary widely, and all have been shown to be
effective. Approach this with a
spirit of joy, fun, gratitude and expectation.
The tapping points are (and it doesn’t matter
which side of the body you do these on): Side of hand –
The karate chop point; Eyebrow Point – End of the eyebrow
closest to your nose; Side of Eye – The corner of your
eye, on the bone of the socket away from your nose; Under
the Eye – Directly under the eye on the bone of the
orbit; Under the Nose – Directly under the nose, above
your lip roughly at the level of the top of your teeth;
Under the Mouth – The cleft between
your mouth and chin directly below your mouth; Collarbone
– There is some variance here, I prefer tapping directly
below the chin on the point where the two ends of the
collarbone join; Under the Arm – Directly below the
armpit approximately four inches down; Top of the Head –
Directly on the crown of the head and tap in a small
circle. The tapping should be
hard enough to feel but not so hard as to cause
pain.
With that as background, we can try a tapping
sequence to help our energy flow around the feeling of
abundance.
(Side of the Hand)-Even though I can't seem to
feel abundant,
-I deeply love and respect
myself.
-Even though I can't seem to feel
abundant,
-I deeply love and forgive
myself.
-Even though I can't seem to feel
abundant,
-I just can't let go of the feeling of
lack,
-I can't stop worrying about my
bills,
-I can't stop thinking about what I don't
have,
-Every time I look at my bank balance it gets
worse,
-I worry about having enough
food,
-I worry about having enough
money,
-I worry about being taken advantage
of,
-I worry about losing everything that I
have,
-And even though I want
abundance,
-I want abundance in all
areas,
-I am afraid that I am sabotaging my
abundance,
-With all my worries,
-And so,
-Even though I can't seem to feel
abundant,
-I deeply love, respect and forgive
myself,
-And anyone and anything that may be
contributing to this.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-I can't seem to feel
abundant,
(Side of the Eye)-I can't seem to feel
abundant,
(Under the Eye)-I can't seem to feel
abundant,
(Under the Nose)-It's not just that I can't
feel abundant,
(Under the Mouth)-I am not
abundant,
(CollarBone Point)-And that worries
me,
(Under the Arm)-I want to be
abundant,
(Top of the Head)-But I can't feel
abundant.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-I have to get the feeling
before I can get the thing,
(Side of the Eye)-The Law of Attraction says
that,
(Under the Eye)-So I have to feel
abundant,
(Under the Nose)-And I just
can't.
(Under the Mouth)-I can't feel
abundance,
(CollarBone Point)-Because I can't get past all
my worries,
(Under the Arm)-And my worries are
legitimate,
(Top of the Head)-Just look at the
checkbook.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-But, maybe I am overreacting,
just a little,
(Side of the Eye)-I do have a lot of
things,
(Under the Eye)-In a lot of the world, I would
be viewed as a king or queen,
(Under the Nose)-Sure times are tough
now,
(Under the Mouth)-But they have been tough
before,
(CollarBone Point)-And I have
survived,
(Under the Arm)-And even if they seem worse
this time,
(Top of the Head)-I'll probably survive this
too.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-Maybe I can just be grateful
for the little things,
(Side of the Eye)-And there are still a lot of
little things to be grateful
for,
(Under the Eye)-Maybe I even have an abundance
of little things,
(Under the Nose)-So I can be grateful for that
abundance,
(Under the Mouth)-I can be abundant in little
things,
(CollarBone Point)-And once I am abundant in
little things,
(Under the Arm)-I'll bet I start seeing bigger
things.
(Top of the Head)-And then I can get to the
feeling of abundance.
-
(Eyebrow Point)-I am breathing and my body is
working, at least a little,
(Side of the Eye)-And I have a computer, or
access to one,
(Under the Eye)-My brain is
working,
(Under the Nose)-I do know what I want, and
what I don't want,
(Under the Mouth)-I want to feel
abundant,
(CollarBone Point)-And I can feel abundant,
because I am,
(Under the Arm)-I am abundant in the most
important ways right now,
(Top of the Head)-I accept my abundance with
joy and gratitude.
-
-Take a deep breath.
Now, hopefully that helps, at least a
little. Feel free to do it
again. Play with the
words. Make it
fun. Tap and tap and tap your way
to abundance and true allowing.

The Law Of Attraction For
Skeptics
View this article on:
Do you know anyone who is skeptical about all
this “Law of Attraction
stuff”? If you talk about it
publicly, I am sure you do. Maybe
it is even you.
What is it you hear?
· Oh, if the Law of Attraction worked I wouldn’t
have all this bad stuff…this certainly isn’t anything I
want!
· I have been focused on getting rich all my
life…and look where I am now…nope, this doesn’t
work!
· I am dying from this disease…I would never
attract that!
· And on and on and on…
Sound familiar? Sound
maybe too familiar? Maybe these
are words out of your own mouth.
Let’s take a look at the Law of Attraction in
action. Are you a sports
fan? Have you ever seen a
quarterback who just can’t complete a pass, and the more
he tries, the worse it gets? Have
you ever watched a golfer needing to hit across a water
hazard reach into his bag a pull out a scarred “water
ball” – and hit directly into the
water? Still with golf, have you
ever seen a golf pro get “into a zone” and sink every
putt he tries? What the about the
pitcher who can’t hit the strike zone, or the one who
can’t miss?
Not into sports, well just listen to these Law
of Attraction based phrases:
· Bad things come in threes
· Birds of a feather flock together
· The worse it gets the worse it gets
· If it weren’t for bad luck, she wouldn’t have
any luck at all
· Everything he touches turns to gold
These phrases and thousands more like them did
not just come into our language by
chance. The sports examples above
cannot all be coincidence. These
attraction based figures of speech and observations are
evidence of the existence of the Law of
Attraction.
Imagine how peculiar the Law of Gravity must
have seemed when it was first
observed. Sure, apples fell from
trees, but birds flew and boats
floated. When you dropped
something, you could not predict with perfect accuracy
where it would land. When you
shot an arrow, you knew that putting some arch in it
actually increased the distance that it
went. What did all of this mean
about gravity? It simply meant
that there were multiple forces at work, and while
gravity always worked, the other forces influenced our
observation of it.
So it is with the Law of
Attraction. Sometimes we really
are not focused on what we say we
are. We may say we want money,
but we are really focused on the lack of money (and so it
is the lack of money that we
get.) Our attitudes, beliefs,
concerns all effect how we observe the Law of
Attraction. That said, with
sufficient analysis, there is simply no evidence that the
Law of Attraction does not
work. Every single thing we have,
we attract.
Maybe it’s time, as with gravity, that we stop
resisting and start understanding.

Using Meditation To Assist in The
Art Of Allowing
View this article on:
There are three Universal Laws: The Law of
Attraction; The Law of Deliberate Creation (sometimes
referred to as The Science of Deliberate Creation), and;
The Law of Allowing (also referred to as The Art of
Allowing).
The Law of Attraction is very simple…that which
is like unto itself is
drawn. This is the most powerful,
all-encompassing of the Universal
Laws. It is the Law to which
everything that happens can be
attributed. We have no influence
over the operation of the Law of
Attraction. Like gravity, this
law is always at work. Just as
“what goes up much come down” is a persistent, ubiquitous
consequence of gravity, the manifestation of those things
upon which we focus is always the outcome of the Law of
Attraction. While we cannot
change the Law…we can change the things that “we throw
up”, or the things we focus on, and in so doing we change
“what comes down”, or the manifestations that we
experience.
The Law of Deliberate Creation
says that we create that which we think
about. If we can deliberately
focus our thoughts on that which we desire, we can create
any outcome that we want. If we
can focus on a pure desire for 68 seconds, we can begin
the manifestation of that
desire.
The Law of Allowing states that when we are in
vibrational alignment with our desire, it will, at that
point, come into our
existence. The “trick” to
allowing is to give up the needing, the fear, the want,
the control and simply allow our expressed desires to be
delivered by Universal Power. As
physical beings, we tend to be “wired” to be control
oriented. We want to influence
the way something happens. We
have a need to worry something until it happens-or
not. Unfortunately,
most of our worry focuses on the
absence of something, or on the presence of a desired
something and while our stated desire may be for what we
want, our alignment is with that which we do not want…and
so we get stuck.
It is important to recognize that our ability to
desire something ensures that we can have
it. Once we have expressed our
desire, it goes into vibrational escrow until we allow
ourselves to feel good and come into vibrational
alignment with the positive expression of our
desire.
It can be a challenge to “not think about
something” and while we can force ourselves to focus on
the affirmative side of our desire for periods of time,
that is difficult while we are in our conscious state,
since we are continually reminded about what we do not
have.
Meditation quiets the
mind. It stills the active,
conscious thoughts and allows us to stop
resisting. Active, guided
meditation can provide us with focused periods of pure
thought about our desire, without the tendency to drift
back to the “side”. Passive
meditation allows the simple quieting of the mind…and so
allows our vibrational level to rise naturally to the
level of our desires.
In passive meditation, one simply sits quietly
for 15 or 20 minutes, breathes normally and focuses on
one’s breathing. When thoughts
drift in, and they will, they are simply released and
focus returns to the
breathing. It may be helpful to
use quiet music or sounds of nature in the
background. Today it is also
possible to find binaural beat or brainwave entrainment
audio accompaniments to meditation which very effectively
help draw the mind into synchronized theta levels (which
are the same as those when we are in the dream state) and
allow very effective quieting of the buzz of conscious
thoughts. Doing passive
meditation once or twice a day will be of tremendous
value in the Allowing
process. During these quiet
moments the pure value of our desires are allowed to
manifest without the confusion of conscious thought, and
so manifestation can come much more quickly.
Active, or guided meditation
takes the form of holding an intent to think about a
specific thing, like our desire, as we go through the
meditative process. Now, instead
of focusing on our breathing, we focus on our
desire. This is very
powerful. Again, it is possible
to find audio aids which can, in semi-hypnotic ways,
guide you into meditative relaxation and the absence of
conscious noise and facilitate the focus on a specific
desire. Exercising this form of
pure thought powerfully influences the manifestation of
desires.
Meditation helps us escape from the conscious
blockages that impact our ability to effectively allow
that we are trying to deliberately create by capitalizing
on the Law of Attraction. Anyone
who wishes to take control of their “manifestational
life” should begin an active, daily program of
meditations.

The Power of Positive
Imagining
View this article
on:
When Norman
Vincent Peale wrote “The Power of Positive Thinking”, he
was a addressing a very important problem that we humans
all tend to suffer from to a greater or lesser extent
while in physical form. He was
talking about self-confidence and belief in
oneself. The opening sentences of
his book are, “Believe in
yourself! Have faith in your own
abilities! Without a humble but
reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be
successful or happy. But with
sound self-confidence you can
succeed.”
Just a little further on, he continues, “It is
appalling to realize the number of pathetic people who
are hampered and made miserable by the malady popularly
called the inferiority
complex. But you need not suffer
from this trouble. When proper
steps are taken, it can be
overcome. You can develop
creative faith in yourself – faith that is
justified.”
Norman Vincent Peale was right, of
course. His book should be
mandatory reading for
humanity. But a strange thing has
happened over time. People have
lost sight of what his concept of positive thinking was
all about.
Today, with our “make it easy”
mindset, we have tried another path of
least resistance. “Thinking” has
become just words, mind-chatter, and maybe affirmations
repeated endlessly. We have lost
sight of the true power and force – emotion.
The difference between simply thinking and
imagining is emotion. When we
think, we talk to ourselves, most often clinically,
sterilely and with every effort to be
objective. When we imagine, we
get in the feeling of what we are
thinking. When we imagine, we
move for a time, into the place that we
imagine. We can touch, feel,
hear, smell, taste the thing we
imagine. Of course, the thought
of the thing is there, but it is accompanied by
emotion.
When we positively imagine our life, we make
changes. When we see our life as
we want it to be and feel that life, we create that
life. As Neville Goddard has
said, when we “live in the feeling of the wish
fulfilled”, we are on our way to manifesting that
wish.
More than positive thinking, more than positive
sounding words or pleasant mind-chatter, real change
comes from positive
imagining. Living with all the
good the feelings of the thing we are thinking and
dreaming about. Of course,
positive thinking is better than negative thinking
anytime…but when change is what you want, put emotion
into the thought and turn it into positive
imagining.

The
Five Steps To Feeling Good When You’re Feeling Bad In Less Than
Five Minutes
View this article
on:
It happens to
everyone. Sometimes things
happen, life conspires, events occur, and even though we
may know intellectually that we are 100% responsible, we
feel bad. Bad could be scared, it
could be upset, it could be angry, it could be worried,
it could be some of all of them…but whatever it is, we
feel bad. Then we try and use our
“spiritual knowledge”, take 100% responsibility and we
find ourselves in an even faster downward
spiral.
We can turn it around…and we have
to. The Law of Attraction says
that the worse it gets, the worse it
gets. Feeling bad attracts more
feeling bad. The most important
thing we can do is to feel better and feel better
now.
Once you know you are feeling bad and you
acknowledge that you want to feel better, you are really
already started…and here is how to get to feeling
good.
Step 1 – Say Thank
You. You may not be feeling
particularly grateful at the moment, but that doesn’t
matter. Say Thank You to the
Universe. At the very least you
can be grateful that at least you can feel
something. Feeling is the
emotional guidance system at work and just knowing that
your system is working as it should is a great
start. There is also a lot more
to be thankful for…no matter what is happening, you have
a miraculous life going on just existing in your physical
body and the entire world is working exactly like it
ought to be…so feel
grateful.
Step 2 – Now that you have got a little
gratitude going, it is time to recognize that you are
responsible for whatever you are getting in your
life. You did it, you made it,
your life is your creation and so, whatever it is you are
feeling bad about is something you
created. Now that you recognize
that, you should feel pretty good about your ability to
create. You powerfully created
your experience, and if you created the one that you are
feeling bad about, you can create one to feel good
about. That knowledge in and of
itself should give you at least a little wry
smile. Take advantage of that and
smile. Smile for a full minutes,
60 full seconds. Do you know how
hard it is to smile and feel bad at the same
time?
Step 3 – The emotional turn-around has started
now, so take advantage of it. Ask
yourself the question, “What do I
want?” Something has made you
feel bad and you can identify what that is, and you
know that you do not want
that. So, turn the bad into the
good by asking yourself, “What do I
want?” If someone made you angry,
perhaps you want to feel good about the
person. If you can’t pay your
bills, you might want a quick, easy and effortless flow
of money. Whatever it is,
identify what you do want and focus on
that. Spend a minute just
thinking about having what you want.
Step 4 – Use the Law of Attraction to your
advantage (you use gravity to your advantage all the
time, so why not
Attraction). According to Abraham
in Esther and Jerry Hicks’ book, “Ask and It Is Given”,
“…the Law of Attraction is so very powerful that when you
hold a thought for as little as 17 seconds, another
thought like it will join it…if you manage to stay
focused upon any thought for as little as 68 seconds, the
vibration is powerful enough that its manifestation
begins.” So, take what you do
want and phrase it in the present tense as though you now
have it. If you want a quick,
easy and effortless flow of money, then your statement
would be, “Money is flowing to me quickly, easily and
effortlessly.” Once you have that
statement, take a blank piece of paper and handwrite that
sentence with your dominant hand (your right hand, if you
are right handed, your left hand if you are left handed)
ten times, and then with your other hand (penmanship does
not count) five times. You will
now have been focused on what you want for at least 70 –
80 seconds. You should be feeling
pretty good.
Step 5 – End where you began, with
gratitude. Give thanks for your
new better feeling. Give thanks
for a perfect Universe and a perfect creation where your
feelings are your guide and where you can guide your
feelings. Just be
grateful.
Once you have mastered this little five step
process that takes much less than five minutes you will
find that you feel bad a lot less often and for a lot
shorter period of time than you used to.
You may even welcome the occasional
bad feeling, since it is just your guidance system at
work, and it will always lead you to a better feeling and
the beginning of the manifestation of something you
really want.
So, no matter what, you can feel good
now!

The Amazing Power Of
Gratitude
View this article on:
There is no greater power in the Universe than
gratitude. Being sincerely
thankful is the demonstration of universal
love. There is nothing that you
cannot be, do or have once you learn to grateful for
everything in your life.
It is easy to be grateful in good times
(although it is also easy to forget), but I can hear the
objections:
· “How can I be grateful for those
bills?”
· “I am getting divorced and I hate it, what’s to
be thankful for?
· “My best friend/spouse/parent/child just died,
and you want me to be grateful.”
Gratitude does not mean that we have to be
excited about negative
events. Gratitude means that you
are honestly able to find the joy and peace in any
situation.
Buddha wrote, “You have no cause for anything
but gratitude and joy.”
So what about the death of a loved
one? Perhaps it prevented them
from suffering. Perhaps it is
simply an opportunity for personal
growth. On the “Happiness and
Peace” website, an article submitted by Larry has the
following:
“Before my son's illness, I was
consumed in the material world. I went to work to make as
much money as I could, to buy material things that I
would soon become disappointed with. And the cycle would
start anew. I did not take time to appreciate all that I
had. Not a single moment. I was seeing happiness in how
much I could achieve, acquire and consume.
My son Matthew’s death opened my eyes and
changed my life forever. I began to see life differently.
Matthew showed me how to appreciate every moment of life.
I enjoy every new day, every sunset. I appreciate those
lives I encounter. It was by slowing down and
appreciating, that I found the greatest gift of life-
gratitude!”
Gratitude is possible in every situation, every
circumstance. Once we realize
that and learn to look for the gratitude opportunity, our
lives change forever.
There is even more than simply being grateful in
the “reality of the
moment.” According to Wallace
Wattles, “People who can sincerely be thankful for things
which they own in imagination have real
faith. They will get rich; they
will cause the creation of whatever they
want.”
Our ability to be grateful for both what we have
and for what we imagine ourselves to have and for all
that we desire is the power that allows us to create our
own realities. Once we can be
grateful in all moments, the Universe will respond by
giving us more to be grateful
for. Once that cycle begins, we
cannot help to have the life we want, for we will be
loving the life we have.
Practice gratitude and that
practice will bring you joy, peace and the very life that
you desire.

Who is Neville Goddard and is He
Relevant Today
View this article on:
In order to get whatever it is you desire, you must “live in
the feeling of the wish fulfilled,” taught Neville Goddard.
Born in 1905 and leaving this physical plane in
1972, Neville was born in Barbados, West Indies and moved
to New York when he was 17. After
working in department stores and then studying drama, he
moved on to lecturing and presenting on what some call
mysticism, some refer to as New Thought and other label
Spirituality in 1932. His body of
work, most preserved in written form and some as
recordings is immense.
“Imagining creates reality,” he said.
During one lecture he said, “Learn to use your
imaginal power, lovingly, on behalf of others, for Man is
moving into a world where everything is subject to his
imaginal power.”
Napoleon Hill, who said, “What the mind of man
can conceive and believe, it can achieve,” lived from
1883 – 1970 and published Think and Grow Rich in
1937. There is no evidence that
Neville and Napoleon Hill ever met or even heard about
each other, but they would have had very important core
agreements.
Neville said, “I ask you to take me seriously.
Imagination will fulfill itself, so do not limit yourself
by anything that is now happening, no matter what it is.
Knowing what you want, conceive a scene which would imply
you have it. Persuade yourself of its truth and walk
blindly on in that assumption. Believe it is real.
Believe it is true and it will come to pass. Imagination
will not fail you if you dare to assume and persist in
your assumption, for imagination will fulfill itself in
what your life becomes.” He also
said, “Every fact is a dream made visible, so I invite
you to live as though your dream were already a fact! I
am convinced that every dream (desire) I have dared to
live in the now has gradually and unnoticed blossomed
into fact in my life.”
Again, there is no reason to believe that Esther
and Jerry Hicks with all of their Abraham-Hicks work,
beginning in the mid-80’s were
directly touched by Neville…but it is clear that
Neville’s muse was closely related to Abraham.
It is becoming abundantly clear from a wide
number of disparate sources that we hold the power to
create our own reality…in fact, more than the ability, we
can’t help but create our reality…or only choice is
whether we are in control of that creation.
Neville understood
this. He spoke eloquently and
passionately about creating our desires by using our
imagination. He had the answers
through his entire life.
Is Neville relevant
today? Only if we chose to create
our own reality as we are empowered
to. He provides a critically
important perspective on our own creative ability and is
well worth significant study.
"The secret of imagining is the greatest of all
problems, to the solution of which every man should
aspire; for supreme power, supreme wisdom, and supreme
delight, lie in the solution of this great
mystery.”

Four Steps To Attracting More Of
Anything You Want
View this article on:
Having whatever you want may sound like quite a
stretch…but it is really not as hard as it seems. Of
course, when you don’t have something you want, or maybe
something you NEED, getting it may seem impossible. In
this infinitely abundant Universe, nothing is
impossible.
As Napoleon Hill said in Think and Grow Rich,
“Our only limitation, within reason, lies in the
development and use of our imagination.”
There are four steps to attracting and
manifesting anything that you
desire. By virtue of the
Universal Laws (The Law of Attraction, The Law of
Deliberate Creation and The Law of Allowing), if you
follow these steps faithfully, you must attract whatever
it you want. You can be, do or
have anything.
Step 1 : List Your Desires – By this time in
your life you probably have a long laundry list of
desires. Some will say that they
don’t know what they want…well, that is just
wrong. That is just fear
speaking. So in this first step
take a blank piece of paper and write the numbers 1
through 20 down one side. Now,
very quickly, take less than two minutes, write down a
list of the things you want to be, do or have in your
life. Do it now.
Step 2: Prioritizing Your
Desires – You can have any of the things that you wrote
down. Through Esther Hicks, in
Esther and Jerry Hicks book, Money And The Law Of
Attraction-Learning To Attract Wealth, Health And
Happiness, Abraham says, “If this time-space reality has
within it the ability to inspire a desire within you, it
is absolute that this time-space reality has the ability
to yield you a full and satisfying manifestation of that
same desire. It is
Law.” So, your desire is
sufficient proof that you can have
it.
Since we do have some limiting beliefs, and we
do get stuck sometimes, while there is no true reason for
this being so, we find it easier and more effective to
focus on a single desire at one
time. This means that we have to
pick one desire from the list of twenty that you just
made. This won’t be hard
either.
First, just go through and cross out the ten
least important…again, do this quickly, take less than a
minute, just listen to your heart.
Beside each of the remaining ten, write a number
from one to ten, where ten is the desire that you want
most and one is the desire that you want least and use
every number only once. Now next
to that number write a second number from one to five
where five means that you can actually see that desire
happening somehow (don’t worry about how) and one means
that you can’t even envision the miracle that it would
take to get that desire. You can
use any of the numbers one through five as often as you
would like. Move fast, the
Universe likes speed.
Now, total the two numbers that you just wrote
down. Look at the desires with
largest totals next to them and pick the one that your
heart tells you to choose.
Step 3: Looking At Your Desire The Right Way –
Desires can be driven from want or from
joy. You cannot manifest from
want, you can only manifest from
joy. (Don’t worry if you feel
unhappy right now…we’ll get past
that.) The point here is that you
have to look at your desire and focus on what it will
bring you, not what it will help you avoid, get you out
of, or get rid of. If your desire
is to “Have all my bills paid in full,” and your
motivation is, “Because I hate the stack of bills sitting
on my desk,” you are actually focusing on the pile of
bills and all you can get are more
bills. If you can begin to shift
your focus and have your desire be because, “I feel good
when I satisfy all my obligations to others, and it feels
good to know that I have sufficient money flowing easily
into my life. Having my bills
paid allows me to spend more time having fun and doing
the things I enjoy and paying my bills is the right thing
to do,” then you are moving to right end of the
vibrational spectrum.
Take the single desire that you have chosen, and
on a new, blank, piece of paper, write that desire on the
top. Now, under that write, “I
want this because,” and start writing all the reasons why
you want this thing. Before you
start, set an intention to find all the positive,
uplifting reasons why you want you
desire. Now take as long as you
need to create you positive statement as to why you want
to be, do or have this particular thing.
Step 4: Live In The Feeling Of The Wish
Fulfilled – Now for the most fun step of
all. Neville Goddard said, “I ask
you to take me seriously. Imagination will fulfill
itself, so do not limit yourself by anything that is now
happening, no matter what it is. Knowing what you want,
conceive a scene which would imply you have it. Persuade
yourself of its truth and walk blindly on in that
assumption. Believe it is real. Believe it is true and it
will come to pass. Imagination will not fail you if you
dare to assume and persist in your assumption, for
imagination will fulfill itself in what your life
becomes.” He also said that the
way to make something happen is to “live in the feeling
of the wish fulfilled.”
So, now that you have your primary desire and
you have gotten positive about why you want, take one
more blank sheet of paper (and if you have been cheating
and have not yet written anything down, do write this
down, it is the most powerful step you will ever take)
write across the top, “Now that I am or have my,” and
fill in your desire. Make sure
you are stating your desire in the present
tense. Then continue with, “I
feel” and write how you
feel. Write what you are doing
now that you have your desire…now that it is here and you
have fully manifested it. Then,
write down a telephone conversation with your best friend
describing how your life has changed now that your desire
is here. Next write down a
description of something that you are about to do now
that your desire is
manifest. Finally, write another
statement about how you are feeling with your desire
accomplished.
Read what you have written, take a few deep
breaths, close your eyes and sit for a few minutes
savoring these feelings of your desire
fulfilled. Repeat this process as
often as you can until, as if by magic, and it will seem
so natural it will catch you unaware, you truly are
living in your desire fulfilled.
That’s all there is to it…have fun.

How To Improve Your Ability To Imagine and
Visualize
View this article
on:
A common
misperception among many people is that they can’t
visualize. The truth
is everyone visualizes and everyone has an active
imagination.
If you have
caught yourself daydreaming, then you know that your
imagination works. If you have ever thought about something that
you don’t have yet, you can imagine and if you can imagine and
if you can imagine, you can
visualize.
What seems
to throw people off is the belief that visualization means
having a crystal clear picture in their mind, like looking at a
television screen. Some people can do that…most
cannot.
For most people, visualization is
a feeling, a sense…it may include odors, tactile sensations,
sounds…and it is often some
combination. All of it is
visualizing.
The
following exercise will help to strengthen both the belief in
your ability to visualize and the process
itself.
First, read
the rest of this article all the way through…maybe a couple of
times, until you have the instructions and the exercise clearly
implanted in your mind. Once you have done that, sit comfortably,
close your eyes and take three very slow very deep
breaths…these breaths should start all the way at the bottom of
your lungs and fill them all the way to the very top until you
can feel your shoulders stretching. Breathe in through the nose, hold the breath
for a couple of seconds and then gently exhale through the
mouth.
At this
point, you should feel comfortable and
relaxed.
Then,
remember this exercise and
begin.
Remember
your ability to imagine, to daydream, to have fun with your
thoughts and with the eye of your
mind.
As you relax
and rest comfortably, eyes closed, breathing easily, picture
the room around you. See the objects in the
room.
In your mind and only in your
mind, get up, and walk across the room to the first object that
attracts your attention. Pick up that object.
Stick out
your tongue and touch the object with the tip of your
tongue.
How does it
taste?
How does it feel in your
hands?
Now, gently, you don’t want to
break it, set it down.
With your
body continuing to relax comfortably right where it is, leave
that object and walk out of the room. Go to another place you like to
be.
Once you are there, look
around.
What do you
see?
How does this place
feel?
Sit
down.
How did your body feel as
you sat down?
Now spend a
few minutes, sitting, relaxing, enjoying being in this new
place.
Just rest and
enjoy.
Without
standing up, using only your mind, look back into the room
where your physical body is resting comfortably and enjoying
this experience. Look at yourself. Smile, be happy at the miracle of your
physical body. Be happy at your mind that allows you to do
all these amazing things.
Now, in the
room where you are sitting, stand up and
leave.
Go back to where your physical
body is resting…and rejoin your physical
body.
That’s all
there is to it. You did it. Do this often and you will become very
comfortable with your ability to visualize and
imagine. Play with the exercise and change it
up.
Leave the building where you
are.
Go far
away.
One key
element though, is to always, at some point in the exercise, be
sure to check back on your physical body while you are in
another place. It is this ability to place yourself
somewhere else so realistically in your mind that you can look
back on yourself which will ultimately allow you make miracles
happen.
Enjoy your
imagination.

Can You Create
Your Own Reality
View this article on:
Certainly you have heard about creating the life
you desire, or about making a miracle for yourself…and,
if you are like most people (including me) you were
skeptical. Well, I decided to do the research.
In Esther and Jerry Hicks book,
Ask and It Is Given – Learning to Manifest Your
Desires, Abraham says, “ You are the vibrational
writers of the script of your life-and everyone else in
the Universe is playing the part that you have assigned
to them. You can literally script any life that you
desire, and the Universe will deliver to you the people,
places, and events just as you decide them to be. For you
are the creator of your own experience-you have only to
decide it and allow it to be.”
In their book, Money, and the
Law of Attraction-Learning Wealth, Health, and
Happiness, Abraham says, with absolute clarity, “If
this time-space reality has within it the ability to
inspire a desire within you, it is absolute that this
time-space reality has the ability to yield you a full
and satisfying manifestation of that same
desire. It is
Law.”
Abraham describes the three
universal laws:
1) The
Law Of Attraction – That which is like unto itself is
drawn. However you are feeling
about all the situations of your life, all of your
desires, creates in you a vibration and the Universe
responds to that vibration. This
law is always at work and there is nothing you can do
about it. You cannot influence
the Law of Gravity and you cannot influence the Law of
Attraction…it simply is and it always
works. Abraham says (in The
Law of Attraction), “That which is like itself is
drawn. The more you come to understand the power of the
Law of Attraction, the more interest you will have in
deliberately directing your thoughts--for you get what
you think about, whether you want it or
not!"
2) The
Science of Deliberate Creation-The Law of Attraction
attracts to you according to your
vibrations. Through Deliberate
Creation you create better feelings about your life about
those things you have and those things you want and move
into vibrational harmony with those things, so that you
gain control of your life in accordance with the Law of
Attraction. Also in The Law of
Attraction, Abraham says, “That which I give thought
to and that which I believe or expect -- IS. If you will
pay attention to the way that you are feeling, then a
monitoring of your thoughts is not so necessary. Whenever
you are feeling good, know that you are, in that moment,
speaking, thinking, or acting in accordance with your
intentions -- and know that whenever you are feeling bad,
you are not aligned with your intentions. In short,
whenever there is negative emotion present within you,
you are, in that moment, MISCREATING, either through your
thought, your word, or your action. And so, the
combination of being more deliberate about what you want,
more clear about what you intend, and more sensitive to
the way you feel is, in essence, what the Deliberate
Creative Process is all about."
3) The
Art of Allowing – If we could just be the pure Source
connected energy that is a part of all of us, we would
naturally allow, and our desires would naturally
manifest. We would allow
ourselves into vibrational harmony with our desire and
the Law of Attraction would visibly work
immediately. We have learned,
however, any number of ways to keep ourselves, because of
our physicality, vibrationally out of alignment or
harmony. The Art of Allowing is
the way we allow and help ourselves to continually move
up the emotional vibrational scale and move into
vibrational harmony with our
desires. Abraham says it (much
more clearly), this way, “I am that which I am, and I am
willing to allow all others to be that which they are.
Rather than trying to get the world to all do the same
thing, or to do the things that YOU like, it is a much
better plan to put yourself in the position of accepting
that everyone has the right to be, do, or have whatever
they want; and that you, through the power of your
thoughts, will attract unto you only that which is in
harmony with you."
These laws are all there is, and they cover
every eventuality. Now, a number
of teachers have created what they claim to be other
“laws” that have to do with taking action, how long it
takes a desire to manifest, and any number of other
things. There are no other
laws…there are a lot of other
beliefs. Not all beliefs are bad,
not all beliefs are limiting…some beliefs can be
inhibiting however. And, in my
view, there is no reason to complicate
life. When you concentrate on the
three Laws (with a capital L), everything else takes care
of itself. The actions will
follow as inspired action coming as a consequence of our
alignment and harmony and not as acts of desperation
trying to influence our alignment. The time it takes
desires to manifest will be natural and comfortable. The
Universe will take care of the rest.
So, not only can you create the life you desire,
or manifest your burning desire, the Universal Laws make
it clear that you are, whether you want to or
not. Napoleon Hill and W. Clement
Stone were right when they said, “What the mind of man
can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
The moral…go make a miracle today.
